**MELBOURNE, Ky.** — Faith Louise Jenkins, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose vibrant spirit was a beacon of light to all who knew her, passed away on February 20, 2026. She was 47.

Born in St. Charles, Illinois, to Roger Kirby and Patricia Smith, Faith was a devoted member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Cold Spring and dedicated her professional life to caring for others as a Pharmacy Technician.

Faith’s greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her loving husband, Dan Jenkins; her children, Madison Kirby (Jacob Hornsby), Stella Jenkins, Trent Jenkins, Liam Jenkins, Zinnia Jenkins, and Zoey Jenkins; her grandchildren, Evelyn and Olivia Hornsby; her sisters, Tera (Graham) Cox, Angela (Ryan) Arlinghaus, and Jacki Miller (James Sparks); her grandmother, Jacqueline Rehbein; and her uncle, August “Butch” Rehbein. She was preceded in death by her father, Roger Kirby, and her grandparents, August Rehbein and Tom and June Moody.

Described as a “ray of sunshine,” Faith’s warm smile and generous heart left a lasting impression on everyone she met. To honor her bright and joyful personality, the family requests that attendees at her services wear cheerful colors—yellows, oranges, and reds—the hues of sunshine.

A visitation will be held at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 3030 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring, on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a memorial service beginning at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be private.

Cooper Funeral Home is honored to serve the Jenkins family during this difficult time. Faith’s legacy of love, light, and unwavering faith will continue to shine in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
