The chiropractic community is deeply saddened by the passing of Dr. Guy F. Riekeman, a visionary leader whose influence shaped the profession globally. As an international speaker, author, entrepreneur, and Chancellor Emeritus of Life University—the world’s largest chiropractic school—his legacy is immense.

The Connecticut Chiropractic Council recently reflected on the profound privilege of hosting Dr. Riekeman at their Fall Conference. His presence, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to chiropractic principles left a permanent impact on all who attended. He was not only a dedicated doctor but also a generous supporter of initiatives like the Chiropractor Legacy Program, strategically investing in the profession’s future.

Dr. Riekeman lived a life of selfless service. His passion for patient care and advancing the philosophy and science of chiropractic extended far beyond any single practice or institution. He was a planter of seeds—through transformative leadership, heartfelt mentorship, and boundless generosity. These seeds will undoubtedly bear fruit for generations of chiropractors and patients to come.

His absence leaves a void in our community. As we grieve this tremendous loss, we lift his family in prayer and support during this difficult time. We also trust that the powerful legacy of Dr. Guy Riekeman will continue to guide and inspire us all to reach higher, serve better, and uphold the vitalistic principles he championed so passionately. He will be greatly missed.
