Mildred Miller Death,Bessemer Woman Dies After Being Struck by Her Own Vehicle
A tragic accident has claimed the life of a 77-year-old Bessemer woman, Mildred Turner Miller. The incident occurred on the afternoon of February 17 on Royal Coach Circle.
According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, Miller was struck by her own vehicle in front of a private residence. Preliminary information from investigators suggests the fatal accident happened when the vehicle was not placed in park.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly after 4:00 p.m. and transported Miller to UAB Hospital in Birmingham for treatment of her injuries. Despite several days of medical care, she succumbed to those injuries on the evening of February 21.
