Nashua Cal Ripken Baseball Community Mourns Loss Coach Greg Frink
The Nashua Cal Ripken community is deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of former coach and parent, Greg Frink, earlier this week.
Greg was a familiar and highly respected presence on our fields. Throughout his twin boys’ time in our league until their graduation a couple of years ago, Greg dedicated countless hours to our players as both a regular season and All-Star coach. His commitment extended far beyond wins and losses; it was about building character, teaching fundamentals, and fostering a love for the game. For many young athletes, he was a steady, encouraging voice in the dugout and a mentor on the diamond.

Our league is built entirely on the selflessness of parent volunteers like Greg. We are incredibly grateful for the time, energy, and leadership he gave to our youth. His impact resonates in the skills he taught and the sportsmanship he modeled, leaving a lasting legacy within our organization.
During this very difficult time, our heartfelt condolences go out to the Frink family, especially his boys. The entire Nashua Cal Ripken family shares in your grief and honors the memory of a coach who gave so much of himself to our community.
